Sanjay P. Ahuja, MD, MSc, MBA serves as Chief Executive Officer and Medical Director of Innovative Hematology and the Indiana Hemophilia & Thrombosis Center. 

A board-certified pediatric hematologist with more than 20 years of experience, Dr. Ahuja has built a distinguished career spanning clinical care, research, and healthcare leadership. Prior to joining Innovative Hematology, he served as Medical Director of the University Hospitals Hemophilia Treatment Center in Cleveland, Ohio, Professor of Pediatrics at Case Western Reserve University, the inaugural Dominic Piunno Endowed Chair in Hemophilia & Bleeding Disorders, Distinguished Physician at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center, and Director of the UH Rainbow Hemostasis and Thrombosis Center. 

Dr. Ahuja holds Master’s degrees in clinical research and business administration, reflecting his commitment to advancing both the science and delivery of patient-centered care. He has authored more than 60 peer-reviewed scientific publications, holds patents for novel coagulation assays, and is nationally recognized for his expertise in bleeding and thrombotic disorders. He has served on multiple national review panels and advisory committees focused on clinical research, therapeutic innovation, and healthcare quality. 

Dr. Ahuja joined Innovative Hematology in September 2024 and initially served as Chief Medical and Informatics Officer before assuming his current leadership role.
