– New medicines including herbal supplements - If you need urgent or emergency care
- If you have trouble doing your follow-up blood draws
- If you are on steroids and having severe side effects
- If you are not able to follow the expectations for alcohol use or safe sex
When you call, tell the staff that you are a gene therapy patient right away. They will put you in touch with staff who know about your treatment.

- Tell them you are a gene therapy patient
During Evenings, Weekends, And Holidays
- Call 317.871.0000 or 877.256.8837 to call the after-hours answering service.
- Press 0 and tell them that you are a gene therapy patient. They will contact an Innovative Hematology/IHTC doctor who will call you back shortly.
